About This Spot

Stepping into Swoop is like finding a little hidden pause in the bustling rhythm of Forster. Nestled along Boundary Street, this coffee shop offers a relaxed, inviting pace that immediately encourages you to slow down and savor the moment. The atmosphere has a gentle warmth—a blend of cozy comfort and easygoing charm—that feels just right whether you’re popping in solo for a morning pick-me-up or settling with friends over a casual catch-up.

What makes this spot quietly special isn’t just the aroma of freshly brewed Allpress coffee, but how the space gently unfolds around you. Vintage touches like antique plates on the walls give it a lived-in, personal character, while the mellow soundtrack hums softly in the background, creating a serene yet vibrant backdrop for conversation or quiet reflection.

The menu here echoes that balance of comfort and care. It’s the type of place where dishes arrive thoughtfully crafted, offering fresh, flavorful moments you might savor—whether it’s the bright, crisp freshness of smashed avocado or the satisfying, hearty layers of a well-made bacon and egg bun. Each bite feels like a small, unhurried celebration of good ingredients handled with a mindful touch.

What truly brings Swoop to life, though, is the genuine warmth of the people who run it and those who gather here. There’s a welcoming spirit that invites repeat visits—not simply for the good coffee or the carefully prepared food but because it feels like a shared local secret passed along through friendly smiles and familiar nods.

If your travels take you through Forster, Swoop offers more than just a stop for a caffeine boost; it’s a place to experience a thoughtful, heartfelt moment in a town that appreciates the little things done well.

Really great value and good quality food. Fish and Chips, Chicken Burger and Brisket Burrito were all excellent. And good coffee in chilled vibe.

Absolutely loved this little coffee shop! It’s a cosy, welcoming spot with great food and a lovely vibe. I had the Smashed Avo which was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully plated, while my partner had the Bacon & Egg Bun – crispy, juicy, and seriously delicious. The cappuccino was smooth and perfectly made. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area – you won’t be disappointed!

Went here 2 days in a row — don’t even bother anywhere else. Really great coffee, really great staff, can’t wait to come back next holidays.

We are from out of town , have visited Jesse’s other fabulous business Les in Foster, so we’re keen to try Swoop. So good, love the music, antique plates, delicious Allpress coffee, and everything they do. I loved the house made crumpets, and my sister had fish taco, crazy good.Try it!

This cafe was such a gem, I only spent the day in Forster and wondered if it was worth wandering here to check it out. Yes, it was! The coffee was great, and the toasted ham and cheese sandwich was top-notch, it wasn’t the cheapest, nor would I expect it be for that quality. The ham was excellent. Overall a great place, with a very welcoming atmosphere. It was placed by the road but with a nice view across to the green, and next to a cute little shop. Thank you :)

I recently tried this swoop grip, and I’m really impressed with the quality. The texture gives a perfect balance between comfort and control — it feels secure without being too rough on the hands. The material is durable and holds up well even after long sessions. Installation was easy, and it fits snugly without slipping. Overall, it’s a reliable and stylish choice that really improves the feel and handling. Highly recommend!

I’ve probably had at least 20 vego rolls by now, and at least one of each menu item. I absolutely love the food here! Expected a solid wait during holidays but not at all, staff are great here. Thanks legends!

SO GOOD! The food, the coffee and the service. I had the corn fritters which were delicious and my hubby had the B+ E Roll. This place is such a vibe.
